Injury Prevention

The Emergency Department and Trauma Center at Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland are here to help if your child is injured. But we’d rather help prevent the injury in the first place.

The information on these pages may make a difference in your child's life by keeping them out of harm's way. By some estimates, 90 percent of unintentional injuries can be avoided.
