The Physician Helpline provides an effective way for medical professionals to communicate directly with our hospital's Department of Quality.
The Physician Helpline is a single point of contact that helps us support you and respond to your needs. Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland strives to continually improve the services we offer to our physicians and providers. We would like to hear from physicians about suggestions, ideas and recommendations for better ways to serve our patients, families, and our medical community so that we can provide the best patient care.
Call the Physician Helpline to:
- Get our assistance finding information you need
- Inform us of any concerns you may have
- Resolve an issue
- Offer feedback on our services
We encourage you to call about any issue you would like to bring to our attention.
Physician Helpline calls and emails will be responded to within one business day of the contact and within normal business hours. When we receive your communication, Helpline staff in our Quality Department will determine the appropriate party to follow-up with you. The person contacting you regarding your communication may be a Division Chief, Medical Director, Department Director, Department Manager and/or Vice President. Each email, phone conversation and phone message is logged and follow-up actions are tracked.
