A Brief Profile of Dr. Pamela Simms-Mackey, Pediatrician and Director of Graduate Medical Education and the Pediatric Residency Program
Dr. Pamela Simms-Mackey is a pediatrician in the Primary care Department and currently the Director of Graduate Medical Education and the Pediatric Residency Program. Primary Care doctors see children from birth until 21 years old, and treat children with many ailments including asthma, influenza and anemia. Most of the Bay Areas pediatricians, like Dr. Simms-Mackey herself, have been trained at Children's Hospital Oakland, a premiere pediatric teaching hospital. As director of graduate medical education, Dr. Simms-Mackey oversees 100 medical students in the hospitals education program.
