CoachArt
Coach Art CoachArt is dedicated to improving the quality of life for chronically ill children & their families by providing free lessons in the arts and athletics.
In Home Lessons are the core of CoachArt’s Service model. Talented volunteers provide high-quality in-home instruction to chronically ill children and their siblings over the course of 12 weeks. At the end of the 12-week session, CoachArt students can renew their activity or sign up for something new. All lessons and materials are provided at no cost to volunteers or families.

Join a CoachArt Club and be part of a special team focused on provided chronically ill children with enriching athletic experiences in a supportive team environment. CoachArt Clubs create unique multi-week experiences where children form a bond with fellow participants while gaining valuable skills in the activity of their choice.

Art for Life Foundation
Art for Life Working with children, teenagers and parents as a component of their bereavement counseling, our ArtFelt Memories program gives each family member the opportunity to create a ceramic memory piece in honor of their child who has passed away. ArtFelt Memories offers each family a safe emotional space where they are able to feel it is OK to discuss and/or acknowledge the family loss.

Moment by Moment
Moment by Moment is a 501(c)3 non profit that was established in 2006. Our goal is to from behind the camera lens, capture the hope, courage, determination and love of families with a child who has a serious medical illness. The pictures are not capturing illness but instead a life filled with spirit, hope and courage.
Referrals are made through staff members at East Bay hospitals. The portrait sessions are either arranged to take place in the hospital or at times in the family's home town (at a park, the photographer's studio, etc.)
Each family receives an individual portrait session with a professional photographer. After the session, they will be provided with a flash drive of all images taken during the session and a gift card to assist with photo development. At no time is the family ever charged.
