Tuberculosis Program

The Pediatric Tuberculosis (TB) Program of the Division of Infections Diseases at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland has evaluated thousands of children with suspected TB infection or disease. Our physicians have extensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of TB in children and serve as the pediatric TB consultants for the counties of Alameda and Contra Costa.  The pediatric TB Program works in partnership with the county public health departments throughout Northern California to ensure that children with TB or at risk for TB receive the best care possible.
