About Me

Dr. Kasra Eliasieh earned his M.D. degree from The University of California, at Davis, where he was awarded a research grant from the acclaimed Howard Hughes Medical Institute to study how aging affects the eyes. Dr. Eliasieh went on to complete a residency in ophthalmology at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in Manhattan, NY. He then completed an additional 2 years of specialized training in cosmetic and reconstructive oculofacial plastic surgery at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital. This fellowship is one of only a few granted by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). While a fellow at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Eliasieh served as the clinical instructor to ophthalmology and plastic surgery residents as well as visiting medical students. As an oculoplastics specialist at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland he treats children with orbital and eyelid trauma and disorders.
