Additional Information | Dr. Kim graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor,
Michigan. He went on to complete his General Surgery residency training at the
University of California San Francisco-East Bay. Pediatric Surgery fellowship
was done at the Washington University/St. Louis Children's Hospital program in
St. Louis, Missouri. He joined Children's Hospital Oakland after his fellowship
and presently is the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Surgery. Dr. Kim has
published fifty peer reviewed articles in various surgical and basic science
journals such as Journal of Pediatric Surgery, European Journal of Pediatric
Surgery, Pediatric Surgery International, Annals of Surgery, Archives of
Surgery, Journal of Biological Chemistry, Gastroenterology, Physical Review
Letters. His surgical interest include non-surgical and minimally invasive
repair of chest wall deformity such as pectus excavatum and carinatum. |
