About Me

Katherine Whitley, PMHNP is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in psychiatric mental health treatment for youth and their families. She received her Masters of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from UCSF. Katherine’s focus is on caring for the whole child by incorporating a compassion-focused, holistic and evidenced-based approach to care for children by working together with the child and their caregivers or other systems of care to alleviate their stress, ADHD, emotional, behavioral, and developmental disorders. She also provides care in the Gender Clinic to assist youth exploring their gender identities and provides consultation for primary care providers treating youth with moderate to severe mental health, behavioral, developmental and genetic disorders
