Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program Compensation & Benefits
The Pediatric Infectious Diseases department Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland allows fellows to choose from one of CHRCO's health and benefits plans at the time of their initial employment; thereafter, changes are allowed annually. Benefits include an excellent package of healthcare, vision and dental insurance. Additional benefits include a pension plan, short and long term disability and long term care insurance.

Fellows receive 4 weeks of paid vacation each year in addition to one week of paid educational leave and Paid Family leave.

Fellowship Employment Manual

In accordance with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the American Board of Pediatrics, the Fellowship Employment Manual delineates the clinical and research responsibilities of the fellows as well as the terms and conditions of employment and benefits. The clinical and research curricula and educational program are also included in the manual.
